ACTIVE SENIOR LIVING IN COBB COUNTY, GEORGIA

The Turkey Creek Sitting Area

The Turkey Creek sitting area was created in celebration of the 100th birthday of Paul Cadenhead on October 14, 2026. Paul Cadenhead was an early sponsor and longtime resident of Presbyterian Village Cobb. He and Sara, his beloved wife of 75 years, often walked around the lake and would pause here to appreciate the natural beauty of this place.

Sitting here stirred memories for Paul of the many times when, as a young man, he would sit near Turkey Creek in Troup County, Georgia, pondering his future and seeking direction and hope.

In honor of his cherished connection to Turkey Creek, and of the nearby Brown Turkey fig trees (Ficus carica) planted in his honor, welcome to Turkey Creek at Presbyterian Village.
